Background
I am a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist. I trained at The Tavistock Centre. I have been working therapeutically with children, young people and families for more than 10 years. I specialise in working with children and young people with neurodiversity - particularly Autism and ADHD, as well as other neurodiverse conditions. I trained at a specialist NHS service for neurodevelopmental disorders and have worked in the general CAMHS and eating disorders service at an NHS hospital.
Before training at The Tavistock Centre, I qualified as an early years teacher and taught in mainstream private and state special educational settings.
I have significant experience working with children, young people and families with complex needs. Alongside working with children and young people with autism and ADHD and other neurodiverse conditions, I offer psychotherapy for a wide range of emotional behaviour difficulties. This includes anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, behaviour difficulties, eating disorders, body image and appearance anxiety, etc. I also offer therapeutic support for parents and other family members.
Currently, I work in private practice in the UK and internationally and teach on an MA course.
